This Coro jelly belly pin was designed by Adolph Katz in the 1940s and was advertised by Coro as one of 3 variations of jelly belly fish pins called "Sea Imps" (see 1949 ad), with this one being the most expensive of the three.  It also appears on pages 175 & 176 of Brunialti’s book "American Costume Jewelry". The tail and head have pave-set clear rhinestones, with a red rhinestones eye and the lucite "belly" is set with rhinestones.  [larger view] [back view] [advertisement]  Courtesy of Clio's Vintage Jewelry.  NFS
